Buy or build?

Hey all, I am trying to decide on something here.

I want to do something different to permanently mount my lightbar and get it off the roof of my truck.

I was contemplating on either buying a Backrack with the center utility light bracket or buying some steel and building one, similar to Doznfire's 2nd gen, only with out the barb wire.

So what yall think, buy or build?

I would build it. Take some ideas that you like from others and go from their. Then you can make it how you want it. May even be cheaper too.

Defiantly build it yourself. It will give it more of a personalized look.

If you have the means build it, then it can have all the custom features you can think of.

you should be able to build one for around $40 + paint or powdercoat cost
