Business question

Do any of you have an idea of the current return on investment (ROI) that investors are looking for and receiving in today's business world in the states?

To put the question in another way, what interest would attract an investor in a new project given the uncertainty and problems in today's shifting market?

totally depends on the business plan & model and what level their investment would be secured

I'm not a investment banker but I am a banker

with that being said the venture captial I have seen place has been from as low as 8% to a high of 22%

not a very good answer but it's too hard to get specific without the business plan & model to review

Larry, thanks for the answer. Your numbers pretty well go along with what I have been hearing lately. Yes, I know it is hard to put a number on it without the business plan and model. I have head that with all of Bobo's interference that the situation had changed in the states, so was trying to find out just how much it had changed as I am looking for an investor from the states for a fairly large new project.

Make your presentation to the "Sharks". I've just seen it one time, but ABC (I think) make a TV show out of your predicament. Everything from selling ice cream to remelting lipstick tubes.

Maybe you could go to the show's online address and maybe they have some writeup on their success stories and give an idea of the facts?

I've got a great idea to make money, a program I know that will work without almost no overhead, will require more computer and internet savvy and time than I have

I want someone from Texas so that we can meet face to face, can be done from home but this business will work, legitimate, no scams and will make lots of money, great for a husband wife with some times on their hands

in our present enviorment I know it will work, I just don't have the expertise to set it up so that it functions propery or the time to learn how right now

someone can pm me if interested but like I said, I prefer a Texas person so that we can meet face-to-face as this will be good

Larry,

Pm me some details. I got a buddy that is extremely computer savvy. If it sounds logical or remotely applicable to his experience, I can pass the info on to him. He worked as a network admin for an internet provider for a while and also for a NASA contractor doing IT related stuff on top of just being a computer nerd at heart. Depending on what you require he may have a little field expertise. And he is unemployed right now so he has more than enough time to try and get something started, as long as it's up his ally.
