Burned

Two nights ago my truck was burnt to the ground by new gang members that have been moving into our area. It is such a terrible thing that you cant get into a fight now and the entire arguement be settled but they come to my home endangering my parents and my two younger brothers to finish the battle by torching my beloved truck. What do yall think should be done when law enforcement is to lazy to protect their citizens?

Uhhhh, I would say, fight fire with fire.........?

Sounds like you are aren't innocent in this situation? (no that ANYTHING warrants the burning of a CTD).
Law enforcement MUST become involved, if anything for insurance purposes.

Moving sounds like a plan, I have better things to do then worry about some greasy gang members fooling with my truck!

Good Luck with that, sounds like it could become a tangeled web.

Law enforcement is involved and the neighborhood that I live in is full of families that are living their life very well. THe next thing you know these people will be all over. No even a waiting twelve gauge stops these Edit

Police Officers can not sit and watch your truck all night, they are too few and far between. The only thing that Law Enforcement can do is take the report after the fact. This is precisely why it is important you protect yourself and your property yourself.

That also means you AVOID situations that can lead to this type of retaliation. By not getting in fights with these individuals. Not sure what you did to make them so mad at you, but now you need to ask yourself if it was worth it.

Don't blame Law Enforcement for this, they can't be every where at once.

Sorry to hear your truck was torched, that is a real bummer.

A bicycle.

Heck, the DTR crowd seems to be getting younger and younger these days so that was not only funny, but appropriate as well.

Oh yeah...sorry about the truck. Don't blame the cops though. They can't be everywhere all the time.

GTSMKD: Sorry to hear about your truck. Hard to believe that people will lower themselves to that level. I too would be interested in finding out why they did this. Did you smoke out their ricer ?

There's nothing lower than some spineless coward that has to mess with your vehicle to settle a score . Many ,many ,many moons ago I had an altercation with an ex of my then girlfriend {who is now my wife } at a nightclub . Never even met the pin head before but you know how the alcohol affects "the little man types " , I try and calm the guy down and he takes a swing at me . Beat the snot out of that moron in front of all his buddies and later that night outside of her apt I am taking the trash out at like 3 am and see some boneheads messing with my car . Grabbed a 5 ft 2x4 out of the dumpster and snuck up on the unknown one and laid into him right above the knees ,didn't want to kill anyone !! " Big Man " starts CRYING and pleading as I am making my way over there. Needless to say I NEVER had a prob with him again !! Dude I am a transplanted Texan and justice has a lil sweeter flavor down there if ya know what I mean . Sounds to me like there is a bit more to this story for them to just come and torch your ride ...........good luck and don't do anything stupid !!

maybe you could tell us your thoughts behind this idea??

I cant seem to think of a way it would help the situation. Maybe it is just me, IDK.

The police wont be able to do anything about this unless someone wached the gang set your truck on fire.

Retaliation on your part will only make sure your house is the next thing they burn to the ground.
