Buried in snow!

New England got pounded overnight by one heck of a storm. In central MA, we got 18-20 inches overnight. It snowed so hard, at times visibility was cut to a few hundred yards. I've been out all morning cleaning up. There's a Ram under this pile somewhere.... :. Who else got hammered?

We've been lucky so far here in Northwestern Lower Michigan. I can still see my lawn!

Re:Buried in snow!

Only 6" here. Weather guys snookered me, though. They said it was going to turn to rain Friday afternoon, so I didn't bother putting my weight rack in the bed. I regretted that on Friday afternoon coming home from work. Ice and packed snow everywhere. Had to idle it off in first to keep from going sideways, never got above 3rd gear all the way home.

Daniel, you should be dug out in time for the March Hooter's Meet. ;D It's been fun : , but now it's time to head out with the "snow rake" and get it off the eves of the house. The roof's got a 12/12 pitch and if left on there, it'll tear the gutters off as the glacier slides down and off; a tool I knew nothing about until I moved up here. :

Re:Buried in snow!

A small piece of advice...

If this turns out to be a precursor of the killer winter you're about to have...I'd suggest swapping out motors and putting a Cummins on that little red thing with wheels and a chute! It'll make that chore alot more enjoyable!!! ;D

Cool!!!

I'll tell you what, after today I'm thinking about a bigger tractor, one that comes with a bucket. I'm getting too old for this...

Re:Buried in snow!

That's a dusting, week and a half ago we had 36" in a day up here in the valley. My rig loves the 60* garage it parks in, but leaving work isn't very warm and nice. :'(

Re:Buried in snow!

Send some of that snow my way. We haven't had much in the last couple of years. If you can't ski and snowmobile in Minnesota in the winter, you're just a bunch of cold people looking at each other.

Re:Buried in snow!

Hey DAD do you think the Impala will make it through that snow??

WHy don't you post pics of the tire marks I left in the garage when I took that running start to try to get up your driveway in the snow in my old 96 RAM few years ago!!
We got about 6-8" here in Maple Shade NJ! The mix we got Fri. night made for some icy roads under the snow. I sadly do not have 4wd on my truck! I came from getting a straight work truck to a Laramie quad cab. SO I had to suffer in one area. Luckily the wifes Pathfinder has 4wd so I was having fun in that. More nimble than a full size truck. Fun to drive.
