Guess I'm going to have to find something productive to do tomorrow before the wife gets home. I fixed her car for crying out loud but you know wives, never enough.

Wow, typical Saturday morning - - everyone sleeping in. Been up since 5:30 enjoying my coffee on the lanai in the dark and cool - - wonderful.
Feeling a little older this morning - - just a little. Phone call at 8am to inform me that, as of 7 am, I am a great grandfather. Oh mercy, I am WAAAYYY to young for this stuff. This is our first. Little boy. Trouble is, my son is a grandfather - - that is tough to handle, no doubt. Trevor. Way early due to problems with mommy - - so he is only 5 pounds but seems healthy. Mercy - - GREAT grandfather - - give me a break. It was only about 11 years ago that my son was born. Weeelll, maybe 12 years or so.
NO??? OK, a couple more that 12 - - just a couple more. 
Made fresh ph00 cause I note the Canuck was in here messing around in the middle of the night, so it is ready - - everything else looked OK - - grabbing my cup
and I am gone to meditate on my new plight and title. (ssnnaagggllle rattllle friiitttsss - - great grandfather - - oh my goodnes, is my insurance paid up - - have I picked out my burial plot yet? Do I have a will? How much longer????

you are Blessed Bob, beats being old anyday...LOL see ya in alaska, get a hand carved cane......do dit do
did the wife thing- finished new roof valley and repaired gutter system, put up another roof panel on the boat garage oops! I mean did the dishes, made supper, took care of tired hubby by spoiling, paid the bills. does feel good to have the roof done though
after hubby gets out of work today- we are headed down to his homestead to get together with our best man and matron of honor. haven't hung out together in about 20 years, this is gonna be awesome!! our wedding photos are a kick- she is 3'8", I am 5' 2", he is 5' 7", hubby is 6' 1". they have two grown sons, she kept all the men in line, fer sure!!! very happy, pleasant family!
Marc, fingers crossed for ya for a little fella! nice work in the snow. it's 68 degrees here
and Tim is on the money- healthy healthy! maybe FiverBoBo and I can get arrested while up there in May.

I was laying out in the lanai catching some rays and reading the paper and noticed the neighbor's wife behind me out mowing, trimming, pulling weeds - - she does this all the time. I asked him if he ever rented her out for yard work. They both cracked up. Marian hates working in the yard - - that is a blue chore - - she does pink chores. She did have fun running the rider mower at the last house. 3 acres to mow with a zero radius 20hp mower. She had fun with it. Pull weeds - - nope. She informed me that when I bake a cake and make supper she will pull weeds. I pulled the weeds.
