Passing thru this morning. Headed out to the range to attempt to get qualified a bunch of REMF's that cancelled out last time due to the humidity wilting their beret's.

Nah, just been busy. Been a little bit coolish to be in the pool too much - - the water isn't in the high 80's anymore. I know, big baby. Just don't feel like firing up the heater when it is still in the 80's outside, but cool at night. Did fire it up the other night for a midnight relax in the hot tub.

Sounds like everyone is still up to their normal stuff. Wish I could see Heidi touring that hog down the road - - you get em, girl. I can't even get my wife on mine - - she be scared - - wonder if it is the driver??? A run alongside the beach at sundown is always nice.

OK, had my foo foo, I'll pass on them cholesterol rings, Scott. Gotta go get started on the wax job on the truck. Uggghhhh. See ya,

Bob

we are going on "no news is good news..."

she don't call her mom, just calls her husband, and he's not that good at relaying information.

i tell the kid to call her mama in my letters, and my wife tells the kid to call her husband, and not her mama.

then her mama gets mad because her husband won't remember enough to tell mama anything.

so, with that said.......
i reckon she is doing good. she should have passed the PT thursday, and done the 3 day remote site ( "Victory Forge" ) over the weekend.

will update ASAP when we hear from her...

appreciate the prayers, keep them coming.

Mornin all

Claude thought by the way you were talking that you went down/up to do the work at Redlegs. I see now that it was just a gathering exercise. Gathering all the parts. Not to many people are as self reliant as you are. Good on ya.

Heidi is that the bike that was written off? Looks pretty good even with the little bit of road rash. Trespassers are not welcome. Means they have no respect for you or your land. Bear traps might not be a bad deterrent. I'm sure Hat could come up with a few good ways to give them a scare.

Have a bit of a cold coming on. Must have picked it up from the kids at the club. Right now just a dry cough. Hope the flu shot I got helps a little.

Trad hows the grandchild doing? Haven't seen any new pics lately, didn't break the camera did you.

Need to get at it, thanks for the .

Have fun and drive safe.

Where is this "anatomy of a storm"? Search brought me to here. Ferry? We crossed the bridge going over and the ferry coming out. Took the ferry over to San Juan also. That is a neat island. Liked Whidbey too.

Got White Ghost half done. Boy that thing is big. Ended up getting sidetracked. Cleaned and waxed the vinyl roof on the TownCar. Looked wonderful until I looked closer - - could not believe it was that dirty. OK, now I am ready for some more foo foo and sit a spell, read my Wall Street, cry over the down market a bit, lick my wounds, then plan strategy. hee hee As if I could outwit the nitwits running the market up and down like a yoyo. DUH, nothing has changed since the big UP day yesterday, so let's make it a DOWN day. STUPID.

OK, settle down, Bob - - relax, take a breath and another sip of . There, now, don't you feel better? YES I DO. However, on second thought - - dummies dummies. OK, I'm out of here before I tear the place up and get Scott mad at me. See ya,

FrustratedBob

ON EDIT: dssimecek - - I found the thread. Luckily it was not that way on our trip. My son takes that ferry every day and he has seen it where they would not put any cars on first floor 1/2 way back. I have some of the Newfoundland ferry that make this one look like fun in the bathtub. I can't imagine how trucks or RV's would ever stay in place - - the whole front or rear of the ship was out of the water with the props completely clear. Not for me - - nope.

Wink Checking in, all is clean- very good!

Hey fellers! that blue bike is the one that was wrecked, I bought it off of Ebay. mint condition except what you see. and I have spare parts for my police bike (the white one is mine) that will fit quite nicely--bike is a present to my husband. 20 years of dealing with me AND his retirement.

Just got in from Southern Pennsylvania, picked up a front end loader for the tree tractor. compact utility cub cadet. 30 horse diesel. quality part for a very nice price. no one bought it on Ebay, so I contacted the seller. still nice honest folks left on there.

04- eek John, sounds like one of a dozen scammers that just mess around with the seller. report him to Ebay, that stops A LOT of that game. sell baby sell! it was 28 degrees here this morning, YOU ride. I have been there, done that waaay too often. then I did it for fun or to get to work. now I am much smarter, hehehehhe

I hear ya Claude, on the do it yourself stuff. learned the same way by watching my dad, he really was a jack of all trades and mastered quite a few of them. an excellent artist naturally, amazing.

waiting on some parts for any projects to be complete so i will go watch the tube....too dark to look for deer. going to cover paint the trail marks and cut down one tree stand tomorrow. might as well post every tree in that area , just for a hint. barbed wire, anyone? razor wire is illegal.....too bad!
