Good morning from St. Louis. Can a newby sneak in and grab a cup of coffee? About to head out and install the new stereo in my truck before the cold front comes in.

 

Only sneaking you have to do is on the coffee. It's been known to run from consumption. Come to think of it, most folks run from the coffee here. You're on your own.

Weather is -12*C for an overnight temp. Should be a nice day. No snow or wind in the forecast.

Not much going on today, wife is home cause of our holiday. Provincial family day. Should make her a nice breakfast with all the trimmings since she can relax and enjoy it.

Daughter came over for supper last night. Yep brought the laundry basket. Only half full this time. Enjoyed her company.

JWBM I'm sure the hot lunch was appreciated.

sled dogs are not only the best racers to watch on tv- they are PRACTICAL too! four paw drive, low gear, traction control, heated engines, but the driver view might not be the best at times......

Roads were impassable last night. Today the trucks hit the main roads and the snow and sleet provided traction on the ice. I'm not even gonna discuss last night. I'm still hurting from a fall. Nobody had any business being out yesterday but they were, so I had to be. There won't be a next time. They can wait in the ditches for the day and get coated solid. Getting jerked around by the warranty company and I need to sick the dogs on them. I was gonna do it tonight, but I'm working with rainman, so I'll be earning my overtime tonight.

morning all... the weight loss is slow... I had lunch today, probably shouldn't have, but it was a good time for a meeting.
I worked out a little with my wife yesterday evening, then again this morning at the gym. Looks like im going to be working out at home, then the following day at the gym....

 

Evenin, I'm back home. Traffic was bad on the way home.

Josh, my mom came up to go to sea world with us, she brought my brother. We had a good time!

Gonna drop my truck off tomorrow to get the tranny and some other things done. SHO ME THE $$$!!

ok, off the puter- my bank account is still good EBay has worse Gi Joe junkies than me at 312 bucks for an engineers survey tripod. but I bid to get waaay beat with this new Bidsniper service that is out there. kind of 'why bother' on Ebay when things happen electronically on the last second. I don't mind getting beat by price (eek!) just hate to lose to a system, not a person.

did a little more work on some stuff- getting ready to fiberglass damage on the hubby's harley and a life sized mannikin I have (RCMP officer). keeps the riffraff at bay. He kept getting knocked down at a party teen son had UA.
guests thought it was a real person, tapped it to talk and either it fell or they were alarmed........son cleaned up real well- we never knew it until we read his senior yearbook and got a lot of compliments.......

he actually figured out why he wasn't getting jobs and stepped it up a notch. walmart called for overnight meat freezer work- just the thing for his attitude. I really hope he gets the job. really,. I do. seriously.

Army nephew is in Korea- very surprised to learn he never had a barracks at Fort Sill OK. five pair of issued shoes too. winter PT clothes or summer PT clothes. air conditioning. am I old or what? black combat boots, period.
green army pants and white t shirt for pt. NO air conditioning and all barracks, no apartments. we even split barracks with 70 guys through a locker door. a skill was if you could shine boots in less than five minutes....
starch you clothes and iron them dry. might as well wear cardboard.
