Evening all. Looks like everyone had a goood weekend. Had a BBQ at my house today. Some family and friends came over. Enjoyed good company and Ryan winning the race! Other than that it has been a pretty laid back weekend. I'm about to hit the rack, had a relaxing day so go figure, I'm exhausted. See ya'll in the AM

yeah winds hit 80 mph gust but no wicked witch yet

oh well, wasn't going into the woods anyways. Bro in law had to drive to philly and back to get daughter in law, eek.. no worries, we have a barn.

hubby welded in machinst made (cup of coffee paid for it) pin and bearings for backhoe- looks like a machined block, good weld., will definitely rock the ground now, no slop. strengthen up the downriggers with an angle arm and ready to go to heavy work up North with da big rocks. nice to sit back and design it, have hubby work in the barn. yeah, yeah - I made him a hot lunch- relax...

I did more finesse fabrication on my last part for elec motor. all of five minutes- then got tempted on Ebay for a construction GI Joe...my dream. man, will probably have to go back to work to win that item....

Good to see a happy Madhat family! who was the teen ager? black shirt.
nice to see they can scream just like the 10 year old, heheheh

AKPaul, thanks for the link- defintely my kind of race.

saw last six laps of a race i don't get, was thinking of calling my die hard Ford fans and gloat over dodge winning but decided I like my life....

do the taxes this week.......give New York more blood. gosh I hate NYC.....
wonder if I can get all the farmers together to overthrow mayor Bloomburg...have NYC annexed into a territory or sumtin'

FiverBOBO, I have to tell you that I had chocolate macadamia nut wine......
oh golly that is sinful! definitely a dessert wine or good over ice cream, in hot chocolate, little bit on bananas, did i say it was sinful?

Dodge Cowboy- man, you have the extended version of the long truck! taking cows on joyrides now? wow! get you some girlfrinds with that arrest me red color too! yee haw

Evenin' all,

NW Houston, sunny and in the 60's most of the day, now down to mid 50's. Had the turtles, Fiver and Bob, out sunning themselves. Bask in the sun and dive in to the water, then do it again. Who do we know here that does that?
AK Paul, thanks for the up date on the weather, daylight, and race. Now I will have to go check up and see how the race is going.
Did not watch the 500, too much else going on around here. Army son and his family is here this weekend. I fix a good dinner, ham, scalped potatoes and green beans.
Prudent student is hard at it. Got a couple of test out of the way. Got 24 right out of 25 on one of the tests, not too shabby.
FUNHAT, nice pix of you and the family. Thanks for posting all the wix, fun to look at. Your hair is growing out. Love them coaster rides.
Old Dog, you sure got your share of the winter. Nice of you to send it on to Heidi. Got all the pots going, wow, time for.
If NASCAR gets where it is fun to watch again then it will be time to tune it.
Penske got a win in NASCAR. If some one has to wake FO up, for food, and the race can't be too exciting. FO how is the weight loss doing? There there is them what eats anything in large quanities and are about as fat as a pencil.

Sister with the broken collar bone can't do much, but with friends, and familey she is doing OK. I will be getting her a new cordless phone, hers is very old and not too reliable.
Somebody said something about a lot of snow in Glenwood Springs CO. I got two kids that live up valley, so emailed them on the snow report.
Kidletts got a reprieve from the think tank tomorrow, but wife is back to the salt mines, with a trip to the new Diabetes clinic in the afternoon. I will ask her to pick me up, so I can take notes, and keep her honest. Filled out a spread sheet of the gluco readings over the past few weeks.
ChrisR, did you git home ok with your truck? I spent a few hours sleeping in my company van when there was weather related hiway closures. Had a bright orange snowmoble suit I would zip into and stay warm.
DC, got the new clutch in and working? Good idea on the dimmer switch for the EX break. Nice wheels. Looks like your truck works for a living.
JBJ you got a day off tomorrow?

Time to jump into bed, cover up my head and let my beady little eyes clang shut.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

Good morning everyone!

Well, y'all were a busy lot yesterday. Let's see, where to start. Hat, thanks for the invite, sorry I couldn't get there. Looks like the kiddies had a blast. Wife asked the same question I did. First she said "just because you can't go doesn't mean your wife can't". That was followed with "he's the young one right..............with all the kids............oh, I see, does he need a nanny"? Ha ha!!

DC, good idea for the switch! Handy location and a proven design. You'll probably never have to replace that one.

Daytona was good this time. Like y'all said, Dodge took 6 out of the first 10, good for us. Interesting the way the new car drafts. I think this will be an interesting season. Look for more restrictions.

Heidi and hubby still a fix'n things. Better hurry up, spring's almost here and it'll be time to start breaking them again.

Scott, thanks for thinking of me. We got lucky here but we had 8 counties in south Alabama affected. No fatalities yet but some very serious injuries. There were over 80 warnings and over 30 touchdowns. Luck was with our state as it hit in the afternoon into the evening so folks were awake.
