Good evenin'... or mornin'... or whatever the heck it is. Just got in to MI from MA and I'm beat. Had snow from Syracuse to Batavia NY. Not enough to cover the road but enough to make ice and get things all slip'ry. Saw 3 TT units off the side and thru the guard rails. One was all the way over and down a 30' embankment with his load of toilet paper spread out all over. Good thing too, he prob'ly needed it!

I'm goin' to bed, someone start the coffee in the AM please.

chaikwa.

Good morning, coffee's on, hat's back and once again the janitor didn't pick up the toilet paper. Hope we manages to drag in here "sometime" today so we can give him the day off. Glad he's safe anyway.

Wink fly by post^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^whew tired^^^^^

Glad to hear ya made it home CHAIWKA, now get back to work. take care of Ma McLxxx...

Don't complain about our tourist income producing snow. it's what keeps our taxes down with all those accidents. and fines.
WELCOME TO NEW YORK! Remember, I have been driving in this stuff for almost 35 years.....towing business for ten of 'em too......no worries.

OLD DOG< so sorry to hear of your friend's passing. our dear neighbor also passed yesterday at his hunting camp.....God certainly took some good ones this week..

MADHAT! I am glad you are back, hate the wait and see stuff from the Px !
Enjoy your workshop and the familytimes! RESPECT (or fear) is why no one picked on ya...(well I did)

AKPAUL has some pretty good pics on stuck trucks in the tundra, good story.
I want the sno cat....

off to chores with the hubby, get wood, change out some bearings on a trailer, replace overheated brake pads by a dealer who simply had to brake a stuck locknut on the Beetle. should send him the bill for the brakes he toasted.....ah! a balmy 17 here with no wind, perfect for all the outdoor stuff.

packing the trailer for camping up North, had fun in tents but the trailer will be much nicer.......they have 2* F but the sun is out. always more bearable when you see sun!

Take care Davey! Count that money Fronty!! save some too...

Heidi becoming brain frozen but still smiling...

The way I read that is the only thing he was complainin' 'bout was the fact that you're back!

Heidi, I hear ya 'bout drivin', Í must be 'bout the same 'cept I was towin' longer. But that don't mean I like it at all! I can't stand drivin' in that crap, always worried 'bout what the idiots are gonna do. Guess I've seen too much of it.

Claude, sorry about your friend downstate. My sincere condolences to you.

Well, gotta go poke around the farm an' see what broke while I was gone... oughta be back in about a week!

Thanks for startin' the coffee 12valve.

Mornin Mornin

Glad everyone is safe and sound, in body, if not in mind. Still cold this AM -20*C. Doesn't look like it's going to warm up for the weekend either. Need to change oil in the Quad but was waiting for a little warmer weather. Busy before and never made time for it, now I'll have to pay. Oh well...such is life.

Good to see that they are taking care of you pistol. Making the best out of a bad situation. Home will feel reeeeeal good once you get back there.

Sorry to hear about friends and neighbors passing at this time of year. Puts a damper on a joyous season.

Hat hope that it's the first option that works, seems like once they operate things never work the same. If you need proof just look at Trad or the janitor...

J/K Hehehe

Need to get at it now. Have fun and drive safe.

came in to fix lunch for family, get rid of email, warm little fingers...Lawrence, that was funny right there! yeah, I love T Rad and excavators and all- but we DID see his picture with those eyes that say" crank up the juice, I'm having fun!" as he sits in the electric chair.....

they never operated on Scotty, he's that way 'normally'....and we love him still.......

hey Davey, don't work too hard! now it is just you and the DW? right? daughter and kidletts moved out?

coffee great, needed and appreciated! so here's the lunch spread:

black forest ham, german bologna, hard salami, swiss, and american cheeses, honey mustard, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, chips and any pop you'd like. beef barley soup is on the stovetop and plenty of it!!

c'mon in, the place is clean (for now)...

Well, we're getting our first real winter storm. 1 inch officially of ice/snow mix since about 0930..they are forecasting anywhere from 1-3 inches by the time it ends this afternoon.
Had a State Trooper hit by a vehicle alongside the highway near KC a little bit ago, no details yet...
tryed to run up to the quickie-mart right as this all started and the dually definitely doesn't like slick roads........
got 500 lbs of weight in the back now, so hopefully it'll be OK by the time I go to work tonight. This stuff is supposed to end around 1600, so it shouldn't be as bad then.

Got the horses in the barn, dogs in their houses on straw beds and the wood-burner glowing red....

think I'm gonna sit right here and watch it out the window for the rest of the day.............

Hot Chocolate anyone?...................CD
