Afternoon all,
Nice weather here is Houston, cool and blue sky and sunshine.
Pistol on the other hand is getting to see mother nature at her worst. Thanks for the link. Flooding, mud slides, snow slides, lot of wind and rain. I lived up there for years. Was there when the floating bridge sank (I-90) and the Hood canal bridge sank in storms.
So far no earthquakes and volcanos. Been there for those also.
Shirley will be flying up there Sunday, for the arbatration Monday and Tuesday.

Shovelhead, that is nice looking digs. Congraduations, when in the party there.
Chaikwa, Redleg, old dog, which ones of you are the "flatlander tourestors" that cause all the problems, who takes the money from the suckers? I'm confused.
Heidi, what is the story about the yank in a hotel in Quebec, turned on the bathtub faucet marked "C" and scalded himself. Went down to the front desk to complain. Desk clerk told the the "C" was for chaude (sp) french for hot.
The yank then ask why is the other faucet also marked with a "C." Desk clerk says that is for "cold, we are bilingual up here."
Have a good un, and be safe out there.

We Get Mostly Grey Days ,dec,jan,feb- Mostly From Lake Effect Snow. When The Sun Pops Out Its Like A Holliday, Everyone Feels Better. Not As Bad As Alaska Where The Sun Doesnt Eaven Shine When There Are No Clouds.
Hey i got to see the sun yesterday when I went to Fairbanks. even put on sunglasses as I went accross the Chena flood plain. Wind has been blowin 20-50 mph last couple days, and with temps around -10 to -20 that gives some chilly wind. I think I'll stay in today.
ladies of the evening! ladies of the evening! ladies of the evening!
and merry Christmas to you all! lot going on this week fellas!
JBark, you keep up the good work, tired? naw....you are just getting in shape for meetings when you are a superstar.
Shovel ED- nice digs! which is CHAIKWA's room?
Lawrence, IJOBB: I remember ALberta as very pleasant folk, big smiles. Quebec is 'we are the champions' 24/7. and all in French. with the looking down your nose at the stupid vagrants. while holding out their hand for the credite carte mon blanc or no limit credit card. only one or two but regular Canadians will knit you a sweater if you say HI. gosh I love it up North!
might have a chance at Austrailia in July if i pay attention to my emails....
then I will REALLY be confused!
CHAIKWA, you totally ignored what you are- OLD DOG said you are a TROLL!!!
hehehehhehehehe and tell the truth about your King's English- even in your town of birth you sound wierd. I hadn't heard a tougher accent from anyone out there. even when I couldn't understand that waitress.....
still proud of you, safe trip home to you and the rest of the corporation.
tough to find parts came in, family trip up to Rochester NY in the snow storm
for a movie. loving this everyone getting along thing. last of EBay shipping tomorrow, hoo boy! eight fifty pound boxes down to a freighter 40 miles South. glad I don't do this every day. did some body work on the little mercedes (paint) and fixed some odds and ends. tomorrow I will play wife again and bake something without getting my hands dirty.
REDLEG, eek, talk about professional! so glad it did not turn into a sad story!
I owned and ran a towing business for ten years. and played fireman too long on the interstate. honestly, I would end up yelling at cars after about an hour. Did you know that a road flare base (old ones with spikes) actually will stick in a windshield?
trouble on the interstate is peo-ple who THINK they are important. and do not have to stop or slow down. so frustrating for you to have to call the shots instead of be on scene, and poster boy for not losing it. Bless you all! glad you hunt fish and fowl too!
Heidi shaking her head at the wonderful DTR fellas we have here!
fronty- toomuch information sly dog
Pistol, get home and do the same thing!

That ain't far out. I'm so far out that sunshine only gets out for 1.5 hours a day. The river only flows three days a week. When I go for the mail, I gotta pack a lunch and a sleeping bag. Now that's far out (and not in a 60's kinda way either).

WooooHooooo, time to be on the road! Lots of fun things out there just waiting on a pair of willing hands so don't be shy, grab your job and head out the door. Oh, good morning too!
Hey, hey ....
Finally starting to dry out here. The flooding has receeded quite a bit, but DOT still has a 20 mile stretch of I-5 closed. Might be able to get to the plant today but not sure if they will want us there ... much of the crew will be out due to losing everything they had at home
.
Sink holes EVERYWHERE !! See some real doozies on the news reports.
Gonna be interesting to see what my boss comes up with for a solution
