Well, 375 miles, 7 hours of corporate business meetings, and a company Christmas party later, I'm back home. Break room looked a mess so I wiped the counter (except the part that the attack donuts were guarding) and swept the floor. Coffee pots are loaded and ready for the first one in to push the start button. Have a good night.

I won't sleep till this evening. It's the last graveyard (WooHoo) and if I don't keep myself awake till at least ten or eleven tonight,,,, it will throw me off for my next 4 days off.

About the only thing I like about the graveyard shift is that all the yahoos who think they're "somebody in charge" are at home sleeping where they can't do any harm. It has always seemed like the work place runs so much smoother then!

yea, all teh "I wanna be Cheif's" are home squeezing thier teddy bears...

when ya got a good night crew, it stays quite..

I miss the crew I worked with on teh SO....tight bunch and good guys..
here there are only two of us on at any given time, so theres only so much you can talk about.. and not much to do.. makes for LOOOOOOONG nights..more mentally fatigueing than anything else. I sometimes miss teh "midnight-timeto let uncle ernie out to play with the criminals" stuff.. at least it was entertaining!

wel, off to make my rounds of the post, make sure non of the buildings have grown legs.....I hate it when the warehouses or tanks wander off.......

here. grumpy & sleepy.

had to spend all last evening reading instruction manual for a new Navi system for truck (like 170 pages....YaWnnnNNN)

got bunkie 2230, remembered i had PROMISED a guy he could borrow table saw today, so got up 0530 to get it loaded in truck.

took most of that time to find all the various parts, and the tools to change blade.

it's all good now, in the truck and ready, but i is tuckered out.... yaaaaawn...

Mornin, mornin. Sorry I been coming in so late, but when I walk in the door, it's a mad house. Every morning, unless I come in at 0400, and I like the beauty sleep I've been getting lately... glad I don't work the night shift like some here, or stay up all night cause I'm old and can't sleep...

FRIDAY!!!!!!! Not that it means anything to me... Had a bunch of recruits getting charge sheets this morning for... get this... a kid snuck his cell phone into training somehow, charger too, and was using it at night to call home or whatever, then the kid gets 'smart' and starts charging other recruits for phone calls home... what a racket. He got busted, now he's paying for it. I love it...

Back to work. Gonna try to go run here in a little. Have a good one, all.

Wink No nap? wow CHRISR...the beauty sleep is taking a hit..

all packed and headed up North. we must have moved to a different state:

it's 2 below....... get it? huh?! TUPELO! ah man I'm ready to hang with the Canadians..............

MADHAT-------old and can't sleep? I feel guilt at that one....

think I'll pass on the pepper juice Claude, can't keep a garden here with all the woodland creatures. had a Siberian that watched me pick my first green pepper( Iwas sooo proud to grow one!) then never had another, he ate them all and figured out that tomatoes taste pretty good too. passed it on to his coyote friends...I'd have to go back to being a prison guard for a garden...

have a great weekend all DTR faithful- THANKS 12 valave for running a great breakroom !

I will see if I can get some interesting pics for the non snow people.

Heidi packed all the safety gear I can handle!

Morning, finally catching up. SLide offs and a few roll overs. Started another pot after killing the 1st. Jerky and sticky buns on the counter.

Claude, good thing your trip wasn't today, hope everything went well.
Pistol, saw those fish swim across the road and I about took a road trip...
Heidi, if he drags hiney too long, send that boy this way, I can always use firewood...

Have a good one.

Mad, they made the kids in Army BCT redo the whole BCT.

i guess they could go to the PX for shoes or something,

somebody got pay per use phones, or whatever.

BIG deal.

the parents had already drove cross country to the graduation before they decided to not let them graduate, and do it again!

JWBM, have fun, don't get no sunburn!
