Mornin all

More snow in the forecast but will have to see if it shows up or not. Drivers still not use to snow and ice yet, lots of fender benders on the highways and byways.

Found a neat business that laser's pictures onto pieces of granite, marble or wood. Thought it might cool for a Christmas present. Doing it on stone turns out in shades of black and gray.

Claude sorry to hear about your wood splitting. Hope you weren't to far into the carving. Were you using ceder for the grainy look or ease of carving.

Pistol on the news up here they said some of I-5 was under 10 feet of water. Is that right or were they embellishing it a little? Either way sounds like they have their hands full on the left coast.

Australia would is one of the places that I really would like to visit. My Aunt spent a month over there and said she should have had 2 or 3 to see everything she wanted to see and places she wanted to visit. I wouldn't mind flying cargo if you had a big enough suitcase to fit me in.

AkTallPaul Glad to hear you are seeing at least a little sun once in a while. How much snow do you have up there already?

Well have to more snow clearing today so should get at it. Have a good one.

Mornin' all,

Cool, sunny morning.
Wife going to office supply store to get stuff for work. Magellan, nav system locked up. Wife,#%**GERR
Have to see if I can reset it and get it to work. She will want it when she goes to Seattle next week, leaves Sunday. Gotta help her get documents ready.

Pistol, sure glad I am not living and working in Wetter Washington now. I did sattelite repair, like the ones on gas stations, fast food, and malls. Storms made for 24 to 48 hours streight sometimes. Part of it may be stuck in a road closure for hours. Good luck.

Fronty, get the paper work done, as I called that "travel and loving" money and back to work

Have a good un and be safe out there.

Was supposed to get home by the 13th .... probably not now. I'll make it for Christmas by hook or by crook ... even if I have to go on 'Black Ops" to do it

Yeah ... probably was. It was a pretty famous part of the interstate yesterday. The news crew was stranded here also and had to use their news chopper to bring in their supplies.

Actually ... 10 feet was an early estimate. The DOT guys said that there was 12 feet of water going over the road between my exit and the next one down in Chehalis. My partner could see it all from his 3rd floor window. I was busy watching the water creep up the wheel of my rental car from my 1st floor window.

Of all the places to be stuck ... this was definately the place to be. The hotel crew that was here did a fantastic job !! Kept the place clean, people informed ... full coffee pot, made food available ... just top notch !!

Talking Golly, navyPistol.....out of the fire into the frying pan

yup- staying home might just be too boring for you...hey, those mattresses float y'know.....good luck Pistol, travel safe, my navy friend...

IJobb, sure wish I could be packed in someone's luggage! I just found out the cost. now they will put me up there and feed me for free- I just have to get there and ride a camel for them.two other gals are already sponsored, one other gal is my age is retired from Post office, appearantly they pay well as she is footing her own costs. I am going to try my law enforcement connections and wrangle some stuff. you don't have to ride a camel but you'd BETTER clear it with the wife, hehehehehe more dangerous.

wow, first MadHAT leaves then Dodge cowboy......hope they check the fishing creel for a note....... (uncomfortable movie reference) hurtback mountain wink wink

still normal here at 17, tools are really cold. all Ebay stuff shipped out, money spent but Christmas present for hubby was a handheld GPS gizmo. will be worth it to see his face. son tested it all out and his gift was a topo map program. gotta love the techy kids for this stuff. still has no job, tough area. I am old school I guess where you show up at the supervisor's house with coffee and newspaper, newly washed and waxed car....this online application stuff has me stymied.....I still think you have to pound on doors.

anyone out there that can enlighten me? I love my son, but want his butt working.

waay beyond patient Heidi In NY

you had posted earlier that this 125 pounder sleeps in the bed? hmmmm

you are in trouble if the wife gives him coffee first....

good luck with that boom. found that pics of repairing mine (clamped it to the flatbed trailer to heat and bend, then collar the weak spot.) not that it would help ya out , though. sounds like a farmer repaired it. decent price.
bet you take your time with the auger, that first wind up. you are becoming anachronistic Coastie..... (I could give ya the Seneca word for it, but it is nicer to know that you have to look it up) smilie sticking her tongue out..

off to stay warm and do something constructive..
Heidi looking for husband ,out!

Details tomorrow. I'm going to go watch a movie with my sweet wife. Poor thing, having to put up with me...
