Just curious, does anyone else here bowl regularly? If so, what kind of equipment do you use?

I just went a couple times after many many years without seeing the inside of a bowling alley.

Got 90 something the first time, 136 and 115 last Monday.

House ball, house shoes, older than dirt bowling alley, pin resetter needs contant babying.

I just finished watching "Kingpin"....a MUST see for any bowler....

 

I bowl tuesday nights. typical mens league, a drinking team with a bowling problem.. I have a zone strike ball and a hammer spare ball. I suck though

I used to average 180-200 on house junk... went bowling last week for the first time in about 8yrs... best I could manage was 145

I was a regular bowler up until a couple years ago. I bowl on the weekends and still have a 200 average and it's been at a high of about 210 at times. It sounds great but in the men's leagues I bowled on I was just an average bowler!!
I have 2 Ebonite Vortex and 1 Storm Bolt ball. I have the Dexter SST4 shoes and I have to wear on of those real expensive adjustable arm braces to keep my wrist from bending backwards. That thing works great once you get used to it..

 

I bowl regularly on a Wednesday night winter league. Storm and Columbia are the two brands of ***** I use. Love to do it, just wish I could afford it a couple more nights of the week.

 

Two timely posts in one day, WOW. Since my wife's mother died (Ovarian cancer) in 2000 we go bowling every Thursday weather permitting. It's snowing today and we're going. Wife has a retarded brother that loves to bowl so when he doesn't get to, he paces and wrings his hands (worries kinda like RainMan the movie) so we try to make it a weekly thing. We each have a ball, shoes and a bag, that's all. Games only cost $2.25 each so we bowl two or three games each week. To tell you how bad we bowl, Greg wins as much as anybody. It's unusual for any of us to break 145.

I'm on a mixed league every other sunday... it's just for fun, 'cause we mostly suck! There are some good people on the league though... The beers are always good!

I use a Hammer Turbo Diesel & I have a Maxim for a spare ball...

I use 12 empty beer bottles and a roll of duct tape. For some reason I can't remember my score... gotta use fresh bottles ya know

 

Bowled in a mixed league Mondays with my wife for several years. Ebonite Headhunter 14#. We don't need no steeeenking spare *****..

Now fill in for a mixed league Thursdays. It's snowing now but hoping I'll be able to tonight.
