Bought Me a new Toy!

Yesterday I signed for a new 1428V Hydro Massey Ferguson. New OLD STOCK, with a loader, quick attatch, dirt bucket and pallet forks for $14,700. While I got a good (maybe great) deal on it (Thanks Chris for the help) I was still apprehensive about spending that much money on a small tractor. Now I get to see what kind of jobs I can come up with around the house for seat time!

I'm not familiar with Masseys but is this a 28 hp? I have a 24hp Kubota Hydo and you would be surprised what that little thing can do. It sounds like you got one heck of a deal with all those attachments. I like the small tractors because they won't tear up the yard as bad and will get you into some tight spaces that a bigger one wouldn't. Have fun with your new toy and be careful.

yea, 28 at the motor, 22.5 at the pto. I looked at the little kubota's, I liked the 2630 (cept for the seat), but when I ran across this deal it ended all other looking. Plus the loader on the massy will reach 90", a little higher than the kubota, something thats important to me because I will be using this in our business to move and store corn stoves.
