Re:Block heater question

We are locked in under this high pressure over us. I havent had to plug my truck in the past 10 days.
Temps never seem to drop below mid 30's lately. This is REALLY warm for us this time of the year.
It really sucks. I like winter... the stuff we have now is more like spring than winter!
We usually have snow on the ground, and ice on the windows... Now, nothing but an occasional drizzle...

Enjoy winter while you got it... I guess.

Rich

Re:Block heater question

It's not that bad.
The Beast just prefers the temps a little ...shall we say less frigid.
As for the Harleys.....I don't even bother trying to start them when it's this cold.

Re:Block heater question

Pulled in the driveway at 15:30 hours and plugged it in. It will stay plugged in for the duration. I figure that's cheap compared to another engine.

Re:Block heater question

I did a little test and sure enough the block heater is not working. Pluged it in all night and nothing was warm at all. I had to use the grid heater threee time to get it to start. It white smoked almost all the way to school.
can I get the PN for the block heater. I will be needing to change it out for a new one here soon and yes the EX cord was working.
DM01
