Post Big Brother

Big Brother is Back.
I was getting on the freeway yesterday and I saw them sitting at the end of the on ramp.

There are cameras to read your license plate and a camera and an analyzer to read what you leave behind, there are also sensors to read your vehicles position so they can get a picture of your vehicle

I see these all around the Southland.

I really do not think they are checking to see if you are wearing your seatbelt.

There are no names on the van and there is an orange sign saying “Shoulder Work Ahead”

I would guess it is the SCAQMD at work. Anyone have any inside information on these.

They do an emission test on your vehicle as you pass. The DOT had them in Colorado.

With my technological background, and from working in the field.

You don't know how many BIG BROTHER things I have seen come to reality in the last 40 years. CCTV cameras everywhere, facial recognition, Retina scanners, 1984, Fahrenheit 451

But we are giving it all away in the name of security and technology.

I heard the Fire Department used to put OUT fires.

Most of the scanners I have seen were unmanned.

I know how you feel. I don't like it at all. Technology will continue to grow and take over our lives in ways in which we have never dreamed about.

Think about the last 15 years how far cell phones and computers have come. The next 15 will grow at a much faster pace.

We have definately gone down a road from which there will be no turning back.

we are just a few steps away from bar codes on the back of the neck, we already got the number, just need the tattoo, they already track us with cell phones, that wasnt a hot air balloon in roswell and we all know there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll.......that would be the perfect time for a 4th gear launch in a highly fueled 12 valve with stacks......wonder what they woulda thought about those emissions.

With the way Nano technology is going you won't need the barcode, the microchip will be aerosolized and you will only have to breathe it in.

Here they make you chip your pet, they claim so if they are lost they can find the owner, I believe that.

With the new nano chip you could run all you wanted until the NSA presses the Delete button and the imbedded chip simply stops your heart. Oh poor guy must have had a heart attack.

Have you ever heard about Echelon?

Talk about things I saw coming, I have been in electronics since about 1955 and I have seen many things, things they have only dreamed of in Popular Mechanics and it is all here.

I have comic books from around 1958 that were sci-fi they had a space plane called the Dyna Soar that was launched atop a big solid propellant booster, It could fly into space and land like an airplane. The design resembled the Space Shuttle in almost every detail.

Around 1960 I stayed at a motel in Oregon and there was a box on top of the Black and White TV, it was something they were trying called Pay-TV it gave you subscription channels on the UHF band. It was going to be revolutionary and everybody was worried because the government was in control of your TV especially since we were in the middle of the cold war at the time.
That is another good topic, the poor youngins of today will never know what they missed when every last Friday of the month at 10:00 A.M. they tested the air raid sirens. And the bomb shelters, I remember them way too well.

I remember thinking who would be so stupid and actually pay for TV channels.

I guess I was wrong.

Remember on Farenheigh-451 when they showed a shot of the houses and every house except Montag’s had an antenna to receive the government channels.
Drive through any neighborhood now and tell me what you see.

Check this out.

a old school about 15 minutes from me has an old radiation symbol on a sign beside the door telling it was a bomb shelter, at my college they have a "air raid" siren on campus and it was tested once a month, not for bombings or anything but for "weather". im glad i dont have to listen to that anymore. around wilmington, not too far from me, the DHL/ABX airpark used to be a old military base, a few miles down the road was about 10 N.I.K.E missel silo's that were in the ground, looked like TV & radio towers with a little building and concrete "parking" pad beside them.....no one knew til the mid 70's when they took them out. lets not even get started on Wright Patterson AFB in dayton. you got a Kroger Plus card???? better throw that sucker away, you dont even want to know what that thing does, i used to work at krogers, its really amazing. in ohio in late 2004, about mid october, i seen a large fireball over dayton, looked like a HUGE flare then fizzled out, about 500 feet over the buildings, i asked at school if anything weird was seen in the sky last night, Lima, Bucyrus, about 3 or 4 other places. never in any of the news papers or on tv was it reported........

Do you think it could be something as simple as the number, size, and types of vehicles that pass this portion of highway that they are trying to get information on? Maybe a future road project?

Just a thought? I'm not much into conspiracy theories myself.

Yup. Kroger's, Safeway, credit card companys. They are all watching us. I used to worried about the Govt but since I dont do to much wrong they dont scare me. Its all the data being gathered by the "other" people that bug me. Im not paranoid but it may be time to replace my tin foil cap with something thicker LOL.
