Bfg's 32.7 tall vs. the nitto's 3.26 tall. As far as pullin, I personally rite now am running the nitto's, however, this will be my first and last set, as they don't wear worth a darn. The Bfg's pull really good for the buck. Just my .02.

Nitto's have a higher load rating than the BFG's. I'm running the 285 BFG's and I love them. I wish they were higher load rated or at least be able run 80 psi in them when needed. Other than that I don't have any complaints.

Well the 295/70/17's aren't rated any higher than the BFG 285's. They do have a 285/70/17 that's an E rated tire with a 3750lb load rating and 80psi max.

i'm not worried about the weight rating as i rarely haul anything that even needs an 8 ply. I'm more concerned with traction at the pulling track and all around road manners....I'm really looking at the BFG's even though i don't really like the tire all that much i know a good deal when i see one

I can't comment on the sizes you mentioned, but i have run both tires in 285/75r16 on a 2nd gen factory aluminum wheel. I am currently running the nittos. I will definitely go back to the bfg at for my next set of tires. IMO, they are superior to the nittos in every way (even looks). Chris
