BFGoodrich Commercial TA Traction Experience
BFGoodrich Commercial TA Traction Experience
Are these tires as bad as people say? I have the straight tread Commercial TAs on the front and was looking at the Traction model for the rear. Ive read reviews that they are soft and squishy and handle like driving on 1/2 flat tires.
What other moderately aggressive tread is available for a reasonable price?

My father-in-law had them on his Chevy 1-ton, and they're mushy, twitchy messes. They also seemed to grab and follow any grooves in the pavement when at highway speed. I've driven that truck alot, and he called me when he got the new ones installed to take a test drive and get my opinion. They were nerve-wracking with a load in the back. He took them back and got a set of Generals put on.
That is what I have heard from several people. did you have D or E load range?
Would E help?
I had a set of geolanders and they were awful, same type of handling, they got sent back asap. I have a worn out set of Toyo ATs on back. They were good handling, but wore out quickly. However, they were cheap.
Any more suggestions?
