Beware Phishing "IRS"
I was going to put this on the Md 33 site but all should be aware!! 
I did report it to the FBI and IRS websites.
Just received a suspicious email for a tax refund: asking for bank, credit card info to credit my account, personal info. Attachment link sends you to an "irs.gov" site. NONE OFTHE LINKS ARE ACTIVE!! DELETE It!! see below
From the IRS website:
Although the FTC has reported that the IRS has a low number of identity theft crimes, phishing schemes using the IRS name have been escalating in number and sophistication. The current phishing scheme attempts to convince the users that they are receiving an e-mail from the IRS. The e-mails use an official IRS seal and ask recipients to provide personal information, such as Social Security numbers, credit card numbers and bank PINs. You should only respond in writing or by phone to the phone number listed on an IRS notice. Remember, the IRS does not initiate communication with taxpayers through e-mail.

In laws got one of those but did not report it. I going to check and see if he still has it to compair to yours.
