I use a Surefire 6P. Very bright and compact. It's on my belt for 12hrs a day 7days a week. Along with all the other stuff I carry.

The Surefire is great for cost, or if you need more than the standard amount of light from a small light (and have the coin to spend on it) you could also look at Fenix .... most of their lights are over 120 lumens (Surefire 6P is around 65) and have some starting at 180 lumens and brighter.
