Mm, I would love to pull out the 351W in my '82 FS Bronco and put a diesel under her hood. She already rumbles like a diesel, may as well get the engine to match the sound

MAN....that guy is my hero! That is EXACTLY what i want to do with my '86 F-150...'cept use the C-6 tranny (Not going to get too carried away on power). I know i would have to swap in a diesel converter to take advantage of the low end.....but i want to tube out the rear and loose the bed and maybe shorten up the wheel base just a tad.....Thanks! I needed that! haha!

I'll never have the money or the knowhow to do it. But I see trucks here and there that would be GREAT with 4 or 6 cyl Cummins!
Big square 4 door Fords just beg for a 12V.

Been thinkin' about it and looking at more trucks.
It would be kind of cool to 4BT or 4BTA a last gen F150 (kinda slick looking).
Or a 2nd gen Ram 1500 for the same reason.
Mileage would have to be pretty good with those bodies.
But 6BT or 6BTA in an old square 4 door Chebbie or Furd would be the best I think still!

diesel ramcharger
My dad converted one to an old school 1st gen motor about ten years ago and we still have it today.. was pretty easy just had to change the core support to take the wider diesel rads. its non intercooled but it still holds it own, way better than than that old 318 that was in it...
