Bendpak lifts

Anyone own or ever use one of these lifts?
I'm looking at a couple of models to put in my new garage.
This one is currently at the top of the list!

Any thoughts?
Anyone know of a better price on these bad boys?

I worked in a shop with 2 Bendpak lifts, for several years. They are known as a good quality product, and these lifts performed well with no problems, with daily use. I would consider a Bendpak if I was in the market for a hoist.

Bendpak is a good name, I have never liked my truck on a 2 post lift, granted I was on a 9,000 lb lift, but it had way too much wiggle, at least on the asymmetric units. I always put a support under the hitch to stabilize.

Personally, I like the 4 post 14,000 lifts with rolling air jacks.

Had several of them in my shop in Key West ... great units ... never had a problem with them.

Cheers,

Keep in mind, I know NOTHING about these lifts, and I'm sure they're fine units. But I dunno if I'd want my truck on ANY lift with 'BEND' in it's name!

I have a BendPak, but have yet to even install the thing. It is sitting on the shop floor waiting on me to get some time to make it happen.
You can make some additional jacks to go under the front and rear frame area to help stabilize if it becomes an issue.

Has anyone else noticed how ironic it is the picture shows a Ford on the racks?

I am planning a garage, and have been looking at bendpak.

BTW...IIRC, Northertool lists them for sale.

Northern tool's price for the 12 ton $4,675.00
I've found 2 other places that list it for $4,245.00 and $4,100.00
free shipping too.

We have a couple of 4 post units at the shop. One of them is a Bendpak 14k with the optional sliding air jacks. It has been a great lift for the 15 years or so that we have had it.

Sorry I can't comment on the asymetrical unit.
