Personally I dont think there is much difference in terms of quality between the manufacturers....in fact it may be like batteries and there may be only a couple of different manufacturers.

Goodyear Gatorback belts for me - stopped the the shutdown squawk on mine. Been three and a half years, 80K miles, and one seriously wore out AC clutch and still isn't showing signs of checking. If I remember correctly it cost $58 
back then - worth the money to my thinking.
Think it might be time for a new one?
