what different brand of fan belts is every1 using... gates, goodyear etc ?? later, scott

 

My last 2 were Napa, but I'm not sure who makes theirs.

Personally I dont think there is much difference in terms of quality between the manufacturers....in fact it may be like batteries and there may be only a couple of different manufacturers.

 

NAPA is Gates. Has been for lotsa years.

 

Goodyear Gatorback belts for me - stopped the the shutdown squawk on mine. Been three and a half years, 80K miles, and one seriously wore out AC clutch and still isn't showing signs of checking. If I remember correctly it cost $58 back then - worth the money to my thinking.

Think it might be time for a new one?
