Bad news today

My 29 year old daughter got test results back today that tested positive for M.S. She is a very strong person and if any one can deal with it, she can. I don't really know what to type here. I just know that there are a lot of good people on this site and this is kinda like talking to a friend. I don't know alot about M.S. and I would appreciate any info yall may have. I would also appreciate your prayers. Thanks for listening.

Hang in there.

MS is very different for each person. My sister in law has had it for 20 years. She is 60 and can whip us both. She has good days and bad days, but she is still very mobile and vibrant.

MS can progress fast, slow, or reach a point and stop. Each case is very different. There are many support groups she can get into to learn about what to do.

I can tell you she is probably more worried about you that she is about herself. If you handle it well, so will she. Do a lot of research on Google and send a couple hours a day reading for the next few weeks and you'll be an expert.

Good luck my friend.

Larry

My brother in law was diagnosed four years ago and injects himself daily with a medicine designed to halt or slow progress of this disease. The diagnosis is tricky as the symptoms resemble other maladies. He has his good and not so good days but remains active. He lives everyday fully as we all should. Best of luck!

Modern medicine is advancing in leaps and bounds , her chances for a medical breakthru is a lot better than a person who got this desease 20 or 30 years ago.
Ask God for help and believe he will give you the strength you and she needs to get thru this.
My prayers will go out for you.
Best of Luck

Just remember, Modern medicine is amazing. They can treat stuff like you would never believe. I hope it turns out ok for everyone, and I belive it will. The power of prayer is amazing and you and your family have got mine. Hang in there and dont let it get her down. Thats when it can cause problems, when you let it get to you. Keep positive thoughts.
