Not bacon but I saw something at the meat shop today and I would like to know how this is done.
It was a whole bunch of real nice New York steaks and it said; "Cold Smoked Steaks, ready for the BBQ."
How do you cold smoke? Then of course wrap it in bacon then grill it.

Dont know what they are doing but my cold smoker has a hot plate with a heavy pan that I put the smoking wood into. The plate is three feet away from the smoker so the wood smoke cools before it goes into the smoker (through a three foot vent pipe). I use it for cold smoking fish, bacon and for making pastrami. Never tried steaks.
