Audio question I can't even find the answer to...
Where Dem Rhino Owners???
I know, what a deal, $386 for my whole setup. Talked to the owner of Audioformz today, super nice fella and great to talk to. Cant wait to get it all in.

So he's gonna be jealous he didn't research when he sees my setup (He has a ipod, too).
I only have about $600 invested in this considering the sub and amp I already have, and a sheet of MDF for the amp rack we're gonna make.

I feel the same way.
Why buy it when you can build it, You know its done right, made stronger and comes with a great feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment.

do this for about $50....
go get a set of computer speakers with a subwoofer.
duh.
plug the headphone input jack direct into your MP3 player.
see what the DC out put voltage is out of the AC wall transformer.
wire that direct to the battery (fuse & stuff)
should be great.
my computer speakers will BOOM and sound good.
and i you want, you could replace the box & speakers in the satellites, and even the sub.

I've thought about those routes, but weather resistance is key, I wanted all marine stuff so that the stuff on the rhino can stay intact. The sub will be easily removable for when I want to get crazy or park it.
We've tried computer speakers and subs for an outside patio system and the connections corroded after 4 months, as well as the rubber surround on the speaker. Its a good idea for an easily removable full system though.

The sound is amazing. No distortion whatsoever. It will rattle your eardrums out, can barely hear the rhino at full throttle, music is clear at 50mph. The bump is good with it, but is almost unheard when riding around. When hanging out though, it is very distinct and the music can be heard all around. I almost dont even care now how fast the rhino goes, its just pimp now....
