I want to urge all of you guys over 50 to get your colonoscopy done. I just schedule my 3 year re-check today. The last time, the physician found 2 polyps,non-malignant, but precancerous and got em, but wanted to see me in 3 years. Get it done! The only thing it hurts is your dignity which I left in the patient locker. I was out the entire procedure, and remember nothing. The hardest, but funniest part of the procedure is the pre-show cleansing the day before. WOW! Seriously, colon cancer is one of the easiest forms to cure if it's caught early. If you get it though, it's a horrible way to go, and you will die. I'm here to tell you the procedure was a piece of cake. Do it sooner than later.

Now she's buggin me to schedule one.

I tried to tell her I was worth more dead than alive.....
She seems to be somehow convinced that she wants me to stick around for a few more years.
Probably 'cuz the Honey-Do list is getting too long.

 

Definitely go do it, guys! That's what got my Mom 3 years ago at 63 - and she was a health nut.

 

Company doc keeps screaming at me to get one too.

 

Had 'er done post prostate surgery six months ago and they said "good to go"
