April Truck of the month!
April Truck of the month!
The T.O.M. committee is proud to announce our Truck of the month for April 1st. This is a very special vehicle and deserves a ranking at the very top of our favorite truck list!
Enough of my rantings, here is what the proud owner has to say about his truck.

Gracias Amigo's! For the fine honor of choosing my "Lolita" as Truck Of The Month!.
Lolita was not always as beautiful as you see her now..... No my friends, I have labored through many a siesta to transform her into the precious flower she is today.
Not being born into wealth like you gringos, I carry many of my countrymen across the border, so that they prosper in your beautiful country. I often carry as many as 24 cousins in a single load, disguised as cantaloupes.
You are no doubt wondering how I make Lolita so beautiful?... Si?
You be surprised to learn I do all the custom work myself!... Si amigo is true!...
I paint the wheels and grill with gold paint, using a brush I loan from my good friend Jorge'.. then I paint the roof and visor green, this look very good!... Si? ...
The flowers I paint as delicate as my sweet Lolita, I put hearts in the window visors, to show my love for my beautiful Lolita.. she is pretty like flower..Si?
Jorge' make the wheel skirts from an old crate he live in... This make Lolita look like she wear beautiful dress..Si?
Jorge say he help me hang dingle ***** from roof after we finish tuck and roll seat. It was not easy to find green and gold leather to use on the seat...Jorge say is best I not know where it come from.
Amigos this may be hard to believe, but this is my first custom truck!.. Maybe I make many pesos doing this in beautiful El Paso!... Si?
Thank you for this great honor,
Juan Fernandez Rodriguez Consuelo Ramirez Valdez Smith
Happy April fools day!

Thanks! You are all heart!
There is a Ram near my area I see occasionally that starts a very deep orange at the bottom and gradually changes to bright orange by roof level. He has also done something to the front and made a huge "air dam" beneath the front bumper. It looks strange. Hope one day to get a picture of it and will post it.

OK we had our little April fools joke, and with that I will close this thread down
My apologies to Casey if I stole any of the interest in the REAL truck of the month, His is a much nicer truck anyway
Note from Dennis: Probably wouldn't be able to find a 5er to match the "April Fool Truck" very well anyway!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
