I had a 52 cornbinder BD woods truck with that problem. Too much load, too fast, and right on the cab.

I guess that elm tree was taller than I thought.

Now this is a bad day.

That happened in our area a couple of days ago.
The guy was moving slowly in traffic, apparently heard a 'noise' (others in the vicinity heard it too) and slammed on the brakes.
Then the multi-ton tree crushed him and his car.
According to those in vehicles near him, if he had hit the gas instead of the brakes, he'd probably still be alive.
The entire insides of the trunk of the tree was rotted away.
The state wanted to cut the tree down a few years ago, but the local residents blocked their efforts. "It's an Old Magnificent Tree".

Now it's mulch....and a guy is dead.

I have a dance specifically created for blown hydraulics. I learned it on the slope the day after we had been told that our whole crew would be fired if we leaked anything else on the tundra. Than our 966 barfed fluid all over the ground.

So it was your fault! I figured something was up... Careful stepping on any cracks in the pavement. And watch out for the break room coffee, I just might dump a couple gallons of kaluha in it just to make it drinkable. ( don't tell chaikwa, he already thinks the phoo liquid is good)

You want to see how fast a buncher with a hot saw can empty its entire hydraulic reservoir, when it blows the feed line to the saw. WooHoo. Be thankful hydraulic oil isn't dyed anymore.

That said, hydraulic system failures, although rarely fun, can lead to some of the funkiest dances known to man. Of course, Bark waking up in the morning can lead to the same thing, but we won't go there.

How many miles did you make this week?

No wonder you don't like the breakroom coffee... it'd keep you awake!

I don't drink the break room coffee because it takes a backhoe to break the surface tension. I saw a nut and bolt floating ontop of the pot one day.

Wow, that last picture really puts the size of that load into perspective.
I have a tendency to cut corners just pulling my travel trailer.

Least you finally made it on site, the rest is someone else' headache.

Did a simple repair yesterday, right front planetary seals on a JD 7000 series. Easy to understand, and you can replace all the JD specific tools needed, with a hammer and a brass drift. Gotta love technology. CAT could learn some stuff about keeping planetary gear sets simple from that stuff.

And Bark, cutting corners never bodes well, with or without a trailer. Remember this... Shortcuts lead to long delays.

Have a good one
