I'm on vacation in Tokyo. Visiting bro in law, his wife, new baby. Very interesting place. Lots to see and eat. No CTD. All the trucks are cab over mitsubishi, isuzu, deawoo etc. Even the two semi trucks.
A few American cars that must have been imported because they were left hand steering wheel models.
Have drank a lot of beer and sake. Ate sushi, squid, and stuff. Managed to find a burger and fries at this brewery.
Merry Christmas

Yeah, go find you a MOS Burger and eat a teriyaki burger for me! Gosh I miss those thing. MOS Burger was the best cause they drenched them and it would drip off the burger. Oh yeah and Shabu-Shabu, wow miss the heck out of that to!

I liked Tokyo ok but it had to many tourists. Preferred Hiroshima and then you can get out in the tiny little towns and see the real Japan. We try to get over and see my wifes parents and family when we can. No central heat/air, wood fireplace in what we would call the living room and that is it. Keep telling the wife she needs to go over there, secure a job and get set up. I'll sell off everything and move the kids over, only stipulation, gotta bring my truck!!

Enjoy it over there, great place and great people!

Hiroshima is a great place to go. If you get a chance, try Mia Jima national park. Its about a 45 minute train ride from MCAS Iwakuni.

When I was stationed in Sasebo Japan with Marine Barracks my now ex wife and a couple buddies tried to make a weekend out of Hiroshima. As we walked down the streets you could hear merchants locking their doors because they were still ****** off about the past. This was in 95 though so maybe things are different now. We were very welcome in Nagasaki though around that same time frame.

I came home from PT one morning and she was crying hysterically as she watched a WWII show on History channel that depicted the events of WWII. I asked her what was wrong and she told me that they were never taught about the full events of WWII in school.

I've probaby only seen a dozen people who were not Japanese. My girlfilriends brother has lived in japan for 10 years. He knows where to go. It's Christmas day here but doesn't seem like it since they don't really celebrate it.
We're going to some big tower and taking the elevator to the top.supposed to
Be quite a view.
Everyone here seems fairly nice except I can't understand what they are saying.
Merry Christmas, I'm going to find some breakfast.

Hey bud Im in Okinawa right now. I havent tried mos burger but they are every where. I like to go to an A&W drive up (like sonic) and try to order something, they are very friendly and helpfull. We eat at a curi place called CO CO's and a place called something something vikings, you get all the food you want and cook it yourself right at the table. It is very good. There was a pallet of WII's at the BX on base yesterday morning. There arent many american diesels here, just what the military drive, but Im wanting to get an Okinawa chapter started because there are alot of different diesels here

Well since you asked maybe you could bring me back a bride?

I always joked that I was going to marry a 6' blonde Japanese girl.

Let me know how you make out with that ok?

I wouldn't mind an LBFM or two, but I dont think my wife will allow it..

Or a straight 6 Skyline JDM motor, ECM, and wiring harness.
