Anyone know much about old BassBoats?

Forgot but think it's an 82 Skeeter, 175 merc. It has 70-75 hours. Gelcoat is good, we buffed a few spots and it came out slicker than glass. Had it in the shop 2 years ago and had everything gone through and carbs rebuilt. Hasn't ran since then, I inherited it, the owner died shortly after the work was done and it's been sitting in storage. Transom solid.

Anyway, the bad, 2 seats need plywood bottoms. They are broken or rotted. No trolling motor.

How much do you think this thing is worth? Prices vary so much if you look in Ads.

I have little interest in boats, and really don't have time to keep one running.

With the low hours and all I'm tempted to keep it though if it isn't worth much.

What do yall think?

Don't have any idea what it is worth, if you keep it have fun with it. In Washington state the race bass boats. Prolly do in Texas also. Might just be a fun thing to have. It looks good in the pix.

I LOVE it!! as for price, 5k would buy it up in MT I think. I have seen a few up here for around that, but they weren't that pretty I live by Flathead Lake, and your boat is too low for any kind of wind on that lake, but it would be a kick on most of our smaller lakes/rivers.

Yeah, it's really clean. It was hardly used.

I might just get it going and have fun on it... That's what life is about, having fun right?

I just can think of other projects I should probably attack first

Thanks, 4-5 grand it seems. More than I thought. Might get her going and put a big for sale sign on it at an ample price and just run it around on the lake till someone buys it .

Worth???

With a little work you probably lookin around the 3 grand range.. I am sure the engine is still fine with just little work.. How is the carpet and all of that.. You might want to throw a trolling motor on there and update the electronics just to get some lookers.. Take it to marine mechaninc and get a quote.. It probably will not cost that much... Also use them as a resource.. They usually have a post board in them..

How long is the boat? Power motor lift? Tarp? Convertible top? How many pedestal seats? What kind of trailer - wheel bearings done - brakes? Anything included other than the boat itself?

18 feet. Power motor lift. 2 pedestal seats. Roadmaster trailer, good bearings, no brakes. Besides the trailer nothing included really...

Carpet is good, engine is good and has low hours on it.

I might take it to a mechanic
