Anyone know anything about a Jindo?

So I hire a fellow to paint my house. Real nice guy, very competent, great painter/fixer upper. He is doing a great job and we get along pretty well.

Shows up this morning with a Jindo pup, cute as anything I've seen (with four legs). Says my boys need a pup and that this one is a perfect choice.

Now I'm not really ready to keep the little fur ball but am wondering if it might be a good dog for the kids. We camp a lot and I hear its a good outdoors dog.

Anyone know about this breed and have any advice?

Thanks. We are big campers and I'm concerned about what to do with him while we are away at an activity that doesn't allow dogs.

Where does your friend keep him when they are doing something the dog can't do? By that I mean during a camping trip and they decide to go swimming in a pool or visit someplace that doesn't allow pets.
