In general, Interco makes one hell of an off-road tire, but typically lack good on-road manners. They can be extremely loud and wear quickly. If you do lots of highway driveway I'd look elsewhere for a more rounded tire. Good luck!

I can get a set of (4) for dirt cheap so I want to jump all over it, just a few qs:

1. will they fit my stock 17x8 rim?
2. Is the load rating ok?

Link

I am NOT sure if its the STS or M/T that I am getting

got a q for you. what size are they? load rating will depend on which size they are. they one you had pictured is the sts. the mt i hear is better in mud/rocks but not quite as good on the road, yet still poor mileage. also if they are sts's pray they are the radials.

33/12.5/17 is the size, I know they are radials, I just have to find it if they are STS or M/T. Whats the difference between radials and Non-radial, I always forget.

not 100% sure but it something to do w/ the metal bands in the tire. i believe in a radial they run around the circumference, bias are across or diagonal to the tread. the bias always have a rough ride until they warm up, especially when its colder weather. as far as a street tire, radials are definately the way to go! someone correct me if im wrong.

Honestly those tires are not practical for anything but off road use and sand dunes. However it depends on how you use your truck if you just whip it around town and want to look good get them. They will be bad for highway use and towing they float on you and make alot of road noise.

I'd stay stock before going to those.

NO towing, (maybe once a year local within 50 miles) cruising around town and want to look different is pretty much what it'll be and to and from work.
