Anyone Here in Boston?

How bad is the weather now? I just dropped off my sister, the girl I'm seeing and one other of their friends. off at the airport here in sunny San Diego. They're on their way to Boston for some convention. Just curious how cold they're gonna be.........

I'm 70 miles west of Boston and we are getting about 12-14 inches of snow and that does not include the 2 inches of sleet we got this afternoon.
There were more sleet and icing issues at Logan more than anything else according to New England cable news and they did show some delay's and plane deicing earlier today. Just go to whatever airline they flew out on and enter the flight number, it will tell you of any delays.

We got ~ 6 inches 45 miles NW of Boston. We had some sleet between the periods of snow as well.

I bet their flight was delayed somewhere along the trip. If the flight wasn't direct, they might have been held over at their first stop. Alot of flights were affected by this storm.

This is a day after the storm, but your folks are going to be in for a winter treat! It's presently 9 degrees, with a wind chill around -10F.....hehehe...... It ain't San Diego!

I'm also surprised at the number of people who replied to your post. I thought I was all by my lonesome up he-ah!

I think the cold has forced us all inside. We're all posting instead of driving.

I know...I broke the shorts out at 10AM, and by noon was sipping Pina Coladas while I washed all the nasty salt off the truck before turning it in. I got a serious sunburn out there! " Oh, we're having a heat wave....a tropical heat wave.."
