has anyone ever bought a car just to destroy? thats some hillbilly hijinx right there! a buddy of mine got an old civic one time, we cut the roof off tore out all unnecessary interior and cut out the fenderwells and put on some el cheapo mud-grips and went rally racin down some back roads!

I remember when I was about 12-13 local walmart had a junker car you could hit with a sledgehammer for either 50 cents or $1 a whack, that was fun believe the money went to some charity

That is actually a good deal for someone with a young mechanic-in-training that needs his first ride. Cheap, economical and he would have to put some elbow grease into it first ... they don't thrash them so much if they have sacrificed a few skinned knuckles getting it roadworthy.
If noone takes you up on it ... try to donate it to the local highschool auto shop ... sometimes they use them for class projects.
