I was getting ready to order the Roku player but wasn't sure if I should get the SD or the HD. Glad to hear it works well though - are you using it wireless?

Great topic. I'm glad to hear Wii streaming will soon be available. About streaming: what kind of internet connections do you guys who use it have? I have the 1.5mb service from *** cable. Are there minimum bandwidth requirements or does it just downgrade the quality if it can't keep up. I've thought about ordering the Roku box or digging up and old compuer, but I've got a Wii so that would be awesome!

The only problem I'm having so far is finding time to watch what I want to watch!

My inglorious bstards blu ray movie finally came on Monday. I requested it before the release date was ever set.... popular movie.

This is just a bump in the road with netflix. nothing serious. I will continue to use it.

Updates for Netflix.

Running Instant through the kids Wii in the Frontroom.

Running Instant through my PS3 in the Bedroom.

Running Instant on all Computers (Kitchen, Son's Room, Daughters Room)

Set up a Secured Wireless Network to run them all.

Too Much Media in the house now.

DVD players in each room, Directv in each room, Netflix in each room.

Nice!! I stream with my Wii and to my laptop. How do you like the picture quality? I think it is pretty darn good.

I'm not sure how the algorithm works for people that do this, but I can tell you we get a lot more standard dvd's than Blu Ray for new releases. There may have been many people that got on the list before you requesting the BR.

The Wii stream is okay on real life filming, cartoons are great, but since it's 480P and our TV is a 55" 1080i you do notice some suffering of pic, but I can't complain too much.

The PS3 stream is awesome, we have a 37" 720P in the bedroom and it comes through beautifully.

I can't wait to kick the Wii and 55" (8yrs old) to the kids play room so I can put a 1080P in the frontroom with the PS3. But that won't happen until I buy Mrs. Steelblitzkrieg a larger home. I wasn't supposed to get the PS3 until then, now I'm only allowed to sign the loan docs, I can't say anything during the home shopping...Totally worth it!

I would consider it but the movie industry doesn't seem to make enough movies worth watching to get me to sign up.
Nor do I seem to have the time!!
The wife and I have tried to go to the movies several times in the last few months.....nothing worth watching since seeing "Inglorious Bastards"
I can't remember the last time that I rented a movie or did pay per view on my dish box.
