Yeah I'm steady preparing, got her a showcase in the pen, spot lights so i can see her at night, her man is right next door for security (he is a loudmouth when he hears something at night), sprayed for pests and mowed.

What do you mean? I've researched birth periods, the effect of heartworm preventatives to the pups, etc. its gonna be a big deal for me, I'm going nuts keeping close tabs on her!!

We use to raise Rotts when I was a kid. There were numerous times Dad had to interfere with mama given birth. I think he saved about 10 pups in the 5 litters we raised.
1. The first litter mama thought she was making mess and was going to get in trouble for it so she laid on the pups to hide them. Dad had to remove her from the birthing crate for the first couple of hours.
2. One pup was still born and was brought back to life via resesatation (spelling?) using the swinging method.
3. The runts always had to be hand feed to recieve the proper amount of nutrients.
These are just a few.

Gotcha. Yeah, read lots of things meant to discourage a breeder, alot of What ifs and such. I know I will have to keep a close monitor, change her diet when they are born, and so on. I set a blanket out in her little (rather quite big) house. She's very intelligent, I think she will do just fine, and I will be ready. I've made sure to keep her in the best shape and health possible. the vet told me everything is great with her, and she tested negative for heartworm..

Best of luck she's a pretty girl. I loved raising puppies when I was a kid. Taught me alot of responsiblity. Our female was extremly intellegant (show dog and agility) just a bad mom who constantly had to be watched. I remember actually strapping her down so she would feed her babies. It got to the point we hand feed all the babies.

Update
She had them this morning, a solid 10
. She had them early while I slept, so when I got there they were cleaned up and feeding already. She's got em in her hiding spot, so pics are a little hard to come by. But I can keep her at a good visual. They're mostly white with some having brindle on them and some having black. They're beautiful.

The thing I find about puppies is, nothing is safe and everything is a chew toy.
I let a fella use one of my dogs years ago for the stud. I was suppose to get pick of the litter. So he gets if I remember right 12 puppies. I said I don't want another dog so I will take what ever a puppy is sold for. I came back about 2 months latter, He had this heard of deer sized dogs running through his house. Every thing was broken, chewed, or soiled.
He was ready to jump off of a cliff. He said he could not afford to pay me for my dogs service. I laughed and thought who cares, my dog had fun.
