They're in a bad spot for pics, but I managed to get one. Sprayed for insects this morning, but ants are still managing to get by (thank God not many!!!) One of the pups managed to get out of the pic, but they are all survivors.

She is tired, very tired. Still not ready to eat yet, but I''m feeding her plenty of vitamins and wet food. She didn't know what she was getting herself into!!!

You might want to try and gettin them off the cold ground. Dogs especially pups can recieve infections via the pads on their feet.

Yeah I tried moving them and as soon as I had the last one moved momma grabbed em and started pulling them back in. Then I tried at least laying some soft hay down but she moved it all out of the way. Thing is its 100+ out here alot so its not so cool ground, at night we're lucky to get below 80. I'm just keeping a close eye and letting her do what makes her comfortable. She is back to eating and starting to gain a little weight back.

Been almost 10 days and they're doing great! Momma's doing great too, back to eating and getting pampered. Talked to the vet and he suggested some cedar down for the ground to repel ants and fleas. It also promotes a healthy coat for dogs. So I got a bunch of it and layed it down. No fleas and hardly any ants now, but they are getting as creative as I am on the dog food. In order to keep the ants away I got the food pail hanging off the ceiling inside. Worked great til today, they finally found a route down the rope. So gotta do some thinking now. Got some more pics today also, got some little bigheads in there!!!

Any suggestions on ant repellants would be welcome, I've been researching it too.
