The Cummings is a helluva motor...too bad it has a Dodge transmission behind it. Duramax with an Allison 6-speed auto sounds sweet to me
.... need I say more?

I don't think there is a "Street" truck anywhere making 1000hp....... I've read about 800hp but it was corrected and not at the rear wheels. If there is one, I'd like to go for a ride.....

I believe Jim Fulmer is cranking out 804 to the wheels on his daily driver.

back to the dodge tranny. since dodge and mercedes are mergers and mercedes makes a great tranny for tracter trailers, why doesn't mercedes make a high end tranny for the dodge cummins?

There is a truck with a 3 turbo setup out there and the pictures were circulating all over the net for a while. I think he used to hang out over at the TDR but I've never seen any numbers on the truck. 1300 on torque would be way low for a 1000hp. We have several trucks here in Missouri that are already over the 1300 number on torque. And none of them are out of the 700hp range. I would bet that there are around 3 or 4 trucks in the 1300 hp range but they are all pulling rigs.
