Oh, and the specs on the blue Jeep:
4-banger 5-speed, Ford 9" axles, 5.13 gears, Detroit up front, spool in back. 4.5" lift, lightly trimmed fenders, 36" TSL's.
My black Jeep will be getting Mog axles and 52" Michelins, most likely.
The buggy I'm building will be based on a Ram 2500 chassis. Mid-mounted B5.9, twin turbos, 10-ton planetary axles, and 64" tractor tires. The planetary axles I have weigh about 900 lbs each, 16.65:1 gearing, 19" disc brakes, and 3.25 times the torque capacity of a 5-ton Rockwell .

Do you go to any car shows or truck shows anywhere in the southeast?
That's a bit of a trip from Minnesota, but keep me informed, I could be talked into taking the wife on a trip, especially if it is during the cold season up here.

Put me in your "friends" list and I will let you know if anything big is going on. In July there is a big Dodge truck world show down by the coast. I think I will take the crew cab. I will be in Minnesota next June 22-25. Minneapolis.

How do you guys put pictures on your messages???

I assume you are talking about "Back to the 50's" in Minnesota.

That is a great show. Almost 10,000 cars. Do you mean this year or next? Keep in touch.

To add a picture, you cannot use the quick reply part. You have to use reply or quote instead and use the ATTACH FILE section at the bottom of the page.

There is a box at the bottom of each thread that allows you to reply quickly without going into another window to do so.
However, to upload a photo, you have to use the:

Down below, it says "Attach file" with a box next to it to type a file name. Or you can browse for the file. They have to be below a certain size in order to load, so you may have to get your pic into photo editor and shrink it.

Mcmopar,
what part of Raleigh do you live in. I spent 10 years there going to NCSU. Lived on the east side out by South Hall road. Would love to stop by and look at the collection that is providing you allow it.

I am sure we could work something out, meet someplace, blindfold you, spin you around 10 times load you in my truck, drive in circles for 10 minutes then proceed to the "Garage".

I live about 4 miles from the 40/42 intersection.

Got it. I promise not to reveal the location of the Bat Cave. I'll give you a holler next time I am heading that way.
