Yeah, that'd be fun. The question is whether I should drop $40k on a used sports car or drop $40k into a Cummins motor. Hmmmmm......
Not sure how I will adjust to driving a sports car after driving lifted trucks all my life!! LOL

I hear ya,

I have a couple of old muscle cars to feed that need!! And a CTD 4X4 that isn't afraid of a little mud!! I see that you have done your homework on the VIPERS, gotta be 97 or newer. In 97 they went to the second generation 488 V-10, lighter and more power.

Yup, and stay away from the new ones with the hypereutectic pistons!
What kind of muscle cars have you got? I've considered an early '70's Cuda instead of a Viper .

I thought Mopar meant Mostly Old Parts And Rust. Or is it Motor On Pavement After Race? Maybe it stands for Move Over, People Are Racing? And isn't Dodge actually an acronym for Drips Oil, Drops Grease Everywhere?

Go4Lo,

It keeps me out of trouble, always home in the garage, and usually with just enough cash left over from parts purchases for a couple cold beers in the fridge!! Life is good.

Mcmopar,

Any pictures would be appreciated!

If I had a garage with all that stuff in it, I would just grab a chair, look at them and

The Duster sounds especially interesting. My kind of car... Engine too big, tires too big!

I've got some 64"x28" tractor tires going on my next offroad buggy project - they're borderline 'too big' .

Now that's something I would love to see, where do you use it?

Amartinson,
Do you go to any car shows or truck shows anywhere in the southeast?

My little Jeep (shown above) is the only one that currently runs. I usually go to Haspin Acres (IN), Slade (KY), or friends' farms. I used to go down to Livingston, KY, quite a bit. Hope to make it up to Attica, IN, this year.
