Going to have to take that article with a grain of salt. Why was the 2500 so overpriced, because of the Cummins engine option?? And why wasn't the 3500 on the list, it's the same vehicle. And who in the heck pays MSRP anymore??

LOL, These things crack me up............... If it isn't obvious it was written by a person without a clue, you aren't a car guy.

They have brand new Grand Marquis priced around 22K around here. That's a killer price for what you get.

It sure is strange that NO GM cars were in the story. The new GM owernship transfer to government, UAW trust & the UAW probably has nothing to do with the story angle. I am sure it has nothing to do with that.

dunno about everyone else, locally, but the dealers around here have very little actually in stock, but they "might be able to get exactly what your looking for".
All the dealers within 100 miles are doing this. basically, share inventory and sell it as close to MSRP as they can because "they had to special order it".

The only "discount" that is going on right now is if you buy a 1500 SLT with the "hemi", you get a free PT Cruiser. If you dont want the car, they will buy it back as a used vehicle. after you pay your taxes on it, tag fees, title fees, and take a 50% instant depreciation.

I like how they use generated info to write their columns from a "trusted" source.
