Air Conditioning question

Guys I know someone here has the answer. My AC still works, but just barely. The wife wants to go somewhere tonight, and I will not be able to go by and get it charged since I'm working today. If I get a can of 134 and can find a hose somewhere, which fitting do I connect it to? Also, should I hold the can upright or upside down. I have been told it makes a difference. Probably simple, but danged if I know the answers. Thanks and the wife will be happy too.
Ed

Re:Air Conditioning question

It goes on the low pressure fitting which up behind the airbox and turbo area . the high pressure fitting is by the radiator .DO NOT HOOK IT UP TO THE HIGH PRESSURE SIDE!!!!!. read the directions on the recharge kit and you will be fine

Re:Air Conditioning question

Yes you can do it. It's not the approved method but will work in a pinch. I think the low pressure fitting is a different size than the high pressure side on R134.

MikeyB
