Re:AAA Members

I have used AAA many times. Never any problems, up to 100 miles free towing, used it on friends that I was riding with mostly, girlfriend etc... It saves my family a lot every year. It does take the towers forever to get to you, but its free. If you had cattle or something that were in bad shape, AAA wouldnt be the company I would call... But if you are a poor college student and need a free tow to the nearest parts store it works great!

Re:AAA Members

I'm just saying when the weather is tuff, you'll be waiting. They are inflexible about getting the fastest available. They have contracted company's (which come and go and they don't keep us informed of replacements) in a given area. If that company is backed up, you wait. They don't put you at the top of the list because your AAA, because they are handling other AAA's. A couple AAA company's we dealt with were not 24 hour service, and most won't cross each others turf, because AAA won't pay them. One conglomerate here puts their AAA request's at the bottom of the list because they won't get paid as much. We then help the people out by not telling them it is AAA service until they get there. I'm sure the service is fine under normal conditions, and hopefully most here are smart and fortunate enuff not to get themselves in that situation. Made my point, I'm done. Not telling you what to do just care enuff to show you some possibility's.
