Re:'96 chevy burban..same 8 bolt pattern as dodge?

Dodge 8 lugs are 9/16" on 6.5 pattern

Burb 8 lugs are 14mm on 6.5 pattern

9/16 = 0.5625"
14mm = 0.5511811"

0.005" per side diff. Not much

Now you need to know wheel lug hole diameter tolerance/clearance.,

It may work depending on the required lug nut. :-

Hope this helps you out.

John

Re:'96 chevy burban..same 8 bolt pattern as dodge?

You might want to put them on and tighten them up to make sure they clear the brake calipers. I got a flat this summer camping, put my spare (Chrysler rim) on and proceeded to dig a big trench in the campsite when I tried to move the truck. The rim was jammed up on the caliper. Had to jam a piece of firewood between the tire and frame and turn the steering wheel to get it off. Never even occured to me to check the spare to see if it would fit. Impressed my buddy with the power though. ;D

Probably want to disinfect them puppies before you touch your truck with them.

surely not! They have some that look good??

To each his own I guess. I kinda like the new machined chevy 2500 wheels. I would have to study them again, but at a glance they looked good.

dodge wheels will bolt on just fine, i ran a set of 02 alloys on my wifes 91 suburban. but they will be lug centric, since the dodge hole is bigger. the chevy wheel won't fit the dodge or older ford because the hole in the center is too small. the older ford 97 back will bolt up just fine and will work, but the dodge and chevy wheels will not fit a ford, the center hole is to small to clear the hub. the older chevy trucks used 9/16th studs just like the dodges. the 99 up fords wheels only fit fords.

Ford wheel will NOT fit. Chevy HD has the same bolt pattern, but Ford is 170 x 8. Will Definitely NOT fit.

Oh...so I can stick my Ford wheels on the Dodge, but not my Dodge ones on the Ford? That's pretty crappy. I want to swap my aftermarket wheels to the Dodge off the Ford, but, then I guess I wouldn't be able to roll the Ford around after.
