95 GMC 2500 - Gas Experts?

Hey, we have a 95 GMC 2500 that has had trouble starting and stalling right after starting. It was just tuned up, thinking that may fix it, but now, driving down the road, the gauges will go nuts and it will stall.
Any advice? what to check??

Mike

It sounds like a short in the wireing. Check all wires, conectors and grounds. Dont forget the grounds. You should be looking for rust, durt and loose conections. Loose conections can be tuff to find when there in a bundle, I would go to a steeler (dealer) and get some sample conectors so you can check them one by one. When it comes to the wires look for cracks, swelling and stiff wires. By the sounds of it i would start at the ignition and starter wireing. Also ckeck your battery and your fusable links, thay are the 1/8" wires coming off your battery wires. Good luck.

The ignition switch on those is a well known trouble spot. Might want to throw one at it.
