That one would have been fun.

As a retired Firefighter told me the other day, that would be classified as an OS fire (when you get on scene and first thought is OH S***T).

Here is a bad one from my area, not my department though. It was a grain elevator explosion, ill try to find pics.

LOl, no marshmallows, but they are supplying all new beacon and tail light lenses, we melted them completely off. The D.C. called for a general alarm as soon as he pulled out of the station onto the apron. we poured water on that for the entire week. It was a oooohhhhhhh sh@@t kind of job thats for sure.

not to hijack your thread Tim, but while everyone's enjoying their father's day tomorrow, please take a moment to remember FF's Harry Ford and Brian Fahey (Rescue 4), and FF John Downing (163 Truck) of FDNY, who lost their lives in the Father's Day Fire of 2001.

Not a problem Chipmonk, Was this not a hardware store fire that took my fellow brothers? A bunch of us went to the services, ALL our fallen brothers are ALWAYS on our minds and in our hearts. It is what defines us as a "brother hood". I have already walked this mile.

good memory, Tim. it was a hardware store fire, that led to the explosion and collapse that killed them. at some point on father's day, i take some time to appreciate being around for my family, as since 2001 there are so many who cannot be with their's.
