So I guess those seat belt laws aren't really needed. Car manufacturers didn't even install them until they were regulated to do so. Not saying that making the speed limit 55 again is the right thing to do, but people are crying for the gov. to do something and this is just one of the ideas.

I agree, those who wish to slow down so be it. What REALLY IRRITATES ME is the fact these folks are slowing down in the left lane. "MOVE OVER!"
It does no good for me to slow down to your 45mph on the hwy which causes my CTD to down shift out of OD. I drive 65-75mph on the hwy around town and I see these piddly little cars poking down the hwy in the left lane on a 4 lane interstate hwy....drives me crazy. I'm all for slowing down to conserve fuel but do it in the right lane. Sorry rant off.....too much coffee this am.
