Scotty, you know you will pay for that someday.

I don’t get to team up with her until mid Sept (sigh). Having to stay in AK for father in-laws medical stuff (think he will be OK) and some Alaska summer stuff.
PS: Because of you, tonight, I am having angel hair pasta, crumbled bacon with butter and parmesan cheese (despite my diet).

This year was not a good yr for gardening for me. Too much rain, no garden in the yard but I did plant one at my plot at work. Only problem is I have not been out there since I planted it over a month ago. Co worker called tonight and said he will check it out for me and weed/water tomorrow.

Next year...I will put more into it. The low acids are ok but I miss the tang or zing of a good Roma and a Beefsteak too.

Wow... too far away.

Weird. When I left my parents place in CA I had planted their garden just as I had in years past (always in a diff location). Dad says the tomatoes, okra and other warm weather stuff did not come up like normal. He was blaming himself--maybe not watering right or something but everybody else seems to be having the same problem. Kind of a late spring or something.

In Late August I will harass you. By then I should have been able to finish their instructions (they seem pretty good) but will hit you up for any short cuts you might know of.

Once again, I am going to be eating late. The pasta is done so will I be shortly.

Morning all.

Today is Friday, July 9th.

On this day in 1776 - The American Declaration of Independence was read aloud to Gen. George Washington's troops in New York.

1847 - A 10-hour work day was established for workers in the state of New Hampshire.

1850 - U.S. President Zachary Taylor died in office at the age of 55. He was succeeded by Millard Fillmore. Taylor had only served 16 months.

1868 - The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified. The amendment was designed to grant citizenship to and protect the civil liberties of recently freed slaves. It did this by prohibiting states from denying or abridging the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States, depriving any person of his life, liberty, or property without due process of law, or denying to any person within their jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

1877 - Alexander Graham Bell, Gardiner Greene Hubbard, Thomas Sanders and Thomas Watson formed the Bell Telephone Company.

1878 - The corncob pipe was patented by Henry Tibbe. I knew this was a good day for a reason!

1943 - American and British forces made an amphibious landing on Sicily.

1951 - U.S. President Truman asked Congress to formally end the state of war between the United States and Germany.

1971 - The United States turned over complete responsibility of the Demilitarized Zone to South Vietnamese units.

1997 - Mike Tyson was banned from the boxing ring and fined $3 million for biting the ear of opponent Evander Holyfield.

Coffee and ph00 is ready.

It's nice when they remember you for your accomplishments.

OK, the next pic we want to see is the one when Punta Dunta gets her revenge - - I want to see what you look like. You are cruel - - here I thought you were a nice guy - - except for messing up the ph00. Glad all is going well. I did get a movie of my shoulder operation. Weird sitting back and realizing what you are seeing is YOU.

Just finished tweaking the AC units on the blonde's bus and the truck. Less than a can for the total job. Wow, her car was really cold. Guess I have to bite the bullet and do the AC doors thingy - - not blowing cold on passenger. Fooooeeey.

OK, Scotty beat me in here, so having coffee instead and go do some more wonderful things with my day.

This is just a guess but I think it takes Bobby a bit of time to paint on his Speedo...may have delayed his visit to the breakroom.

or maybe it takes less time and the neighbors complained

Riding a bicycle with bunny boots and Carharts just isn't fashionable.

MY guess is that he's like you... OLD. And it takes him a bit of time to get goin' in the morning. You just beat him because you go to bed at 4 in the afternoon and get up after 12 hours of futile beauty sleep.
