.270 WIN 90 gr Factory Load?

Does anybody sell a 90gr factory load in a .270 WIN? Looking for a varmint load and cant seem to find it unless I have reloading equipment, which I dont.

Not that I am aware of, bite the bullet and start reloading...you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner when you see the big increase in accuracy.

Not a very common caliber for varmints. I doubt you will find a 90 gr Factory load. I don't know if you can even find a 90gr .270 bullet to reload with. I can only find 100gr bullets for my 6 mm in factory loads when I'm in a time pinch. Good luck.

Well, Sierra does make a 90 gr bullet for the .270, but you will need to reload to get it. Do a Google search for varmint .270 rounds. One guy even gives you his pet varmint load including primers and powder for the load. You might find a sabot round in 22/270 that will work.

I've been using Remington 100 gr. for varmint. Almost no drop at 200 yds. CTD has them for sale $15/20 rounds

90 grain sounds a little to light for the 270.. It is possible to lose allot of accuracy going to smaller grain bullets.

Check your local gun shows...they have all types of unusual loads and ammo.

I agree! It'll cost alot in the beginning for the equipment but reloading your own ammo will be better in the end and cheaper the more you reload. I'm reloading .308 win and sometime soon I hope to reload 8mm Mauser. Nice thing about reloading is that you can make the rounds you shoot the way you want them to be.

The nice part is once you have the equipment, you only need a set of dies to change to a different caliber. Then you can start reloading for almost anything that shoots.

Believe it or not I got a great RCB system at walmart. Even made in the USA!!!

All I needed was the dies, powder, cases, primers and bullets.

A 40 x 60 man cave with 85" plasma, stereo, and a kegerator doesn't hurt either!!!
